IOSH Accredited Courses for Organisations Who Seek Excellence in Safety Performance

The only Behavioural Science and Performance Psychology courses for leaders in health & safety approved by IOSH

The way we approach safety, health and wellbeing has to change. Only then will we start to see a shift in people’s attitudes, behaviour and performance.

How? By starting to think more like innovative creative professionals who understand the value of applying the principles of behavioural science to performance excellence and improved health & safety culture. They inspire people and capture their imagination by engaging them with narratives that change the way they think and feel about things.

Our communications in critically important areas of business such as sales, customer services and quality are meaningful and impactful. What if we did the same for safety?

Both these IOSH certified health and safety courses are available as a Blended Learning Option, which is a combination of self-led online learning and virtual live sessions with me.

A blend of online & live health and safety training for corporate partners

EXCLUSIVE to our Corporate Partners with 8 or more delegates with online and live sessions.

Each delegate will be given access to our online learning platform. Then over a set time period, they will be guided through a series of live sessions usually over two weeks.

A suggested schedule is outlined below.

Darren delivered a blended learning course for the IOSH Behavioural Safety Leadership Certificate for 12 delegates, virtually within Yondr over 2 weeks. The range of attendees varied from people starting in their safety career to experienced project directors and safety professionals. Feedback from our team was that the course was engaging and thought-provoking. The skills learned by the team is a positive step toward enhancing the safety culture within Yondr. I would not hesitate in approaching Darren, Linda and the team in future training needs within Yondr.

Group HSQE Director at Yondr Group

The online course was absolutely fantastic! I hammered it out in a day whilst my advisor spaced his out over 3 – 4 sittings. The course was full of useful videos from the both Darren and extra content from TED Talks, presentations and assessments at the end of each section to verify learning and understanding. The course truly inspired me and revived my love for health safety and changing behaviours. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone who is short of time (and budget) to be away from the office

I worked with Darren for the first time when I was working for Sodexo in the UK. We were at a point when the incident performance was ‘flatlining’ and whilst the safety culture was good I would struggle to say it was ‘interdependent’. The course Darren delivered then for us inspired the team and flipped the way we thought and felt about safety performance There was far more engagement and people were happy to engage with safety – a real culture change. The H&S team are inspired as they are giving positive messaging and we are developing a module on leading safety for our overall leadership training programme.

Head of Safety Strategy NHS Property

Darren has helped change the way that many of the senior people in our organisation think about safety. The impact of his training has gone beyond the health and safety arena by challenging the business leaders to think about the way they approach leadership in general.

I have partnered with Darren and BSST for over 10 years, people still recall their first training and often recite stories of their experience of the program.
